Cat-Eye Sunglasses
The Cat-Eye Edit
Lifted outer corners that trace the line of a winged liner. The cat-eye originated in 1950s Hollywood and never lost its grip on glamour — every designer house in our edit offers its own take, from delicate to dramatic.

Cat eye sunglasses with an upswept edge
The cat eye lifts at the outer corner, which draws the eye upward and sharpens the cheekbones. Sorenzia's cat eye sunglasses are made to the same specification as the boutique version, with the same acetate and metal frames, the same hinge hardware and the same UV400-rated lenses, finished by hand and priced below retail. Styles run from a subtle lift to a full retro wing.
Which cat eye for which face
Round faces suit a pronounced cat eye, because the upward sweep counteracts the curve of the cheek. Square faces look best with a softer cat eye in a rounded lens. Heart-shaped faces should keep the frame narrow at the top so it does not widen the forehead. A long face suits a deeper lens with a modest lift.
Frames and lenses
Acetate cat eyes carry colour well: tortoiseshell, black, cream and translucent pink are the staples. Metal cat eyes in gold or silver tones are lighter and read more delicate. Dark grey and brown lenses are the everyday choices; a gradient lens suits a thinner frame.
Fit, care and ordering
Check the lens width and arm length on the product page against a pair you already own. Rinse frames in cool water, dry with the cloth provided and keep them in the case. Free worldwide tracked shipping, 30-day returns and exchanges, and pre-shipment inspection photos on request.
