Aviator sunglasses, built to the boutique standard
The aviator is the oldest sunglasses shape still in daily use, and the teardrop lens with a double bridge has barely changed. Sorenzia's aviator sunglasses are made to the same specification as the boutique version, with the same metal frames, the same adjustable nose pads and the same UV400-rated lenses, finished by hand and priced below retail.
Who suits an aviator
Aviators flatter square and heart-shaped faces, because the curved lower edge of the lens softens a strong jaw. Oval faces can wear almost any aviator. Round faces should pick a slightly squared-off aviator with a flat top bar to add structure. Lens size matters: 55–58 mm suits most adults; go larger for a wider face.
Metal or acetate, and lens colour
A slim metal aviator in gold, silver or gunmetal is the classic and the lightest on the nose. Acetate aviators are chunkier and suit a modern wardrobe. Green and grey lenses keep colours accurate, brown lenses add contrast, and mirrored lenses cut glare on water and snow.
Fit, care and delivery
Adjust the nose pads so the frame sits level and the lenses do not touch your cheeks. Store in the case and clean with the microfibre cloth. Free worldwide tracked shipping, 1–5 business day dispatch, 30-day returns and exchanges, and inspection photos on request.
