UV400 means the lens blocks light up to 400 nanometres — which covers both UVA and UVB.
Dark lenses without UV protection are worse than no sunglasses: the tint opens your pupil while letting UV through. Every Sorenzia lens is UV400 as standard.
Polarised lenses
Polarisation cuts glare bouncing off flat surfaces — water, road, snow. It is a comfort feature, separate from UV protection.
Caring for coatings
Rinse before wiping. Grit dragged across an anti-reflective coating is what causes scratches, not the cloth.
