Cellulose acetate
A plant-based plastic pressed in sheets. It holds deep colour and tortoise patterning that printed plastic cannot match, and it can be heat-adjusted to your face.
Metal — titanium and stainless
Thinner profile, lighter on the nose, and titanium will not corrode. Better for minimal frames and aviators.
Hinges
Barrel hinges last longer than friction hinges. Spring hinges add give for wider faces. We list hinge type per frame.
